First 8 rows on this airplane offer 30 open suites of business class. All these seats are transformed into a fully bed.

Close location to the galleys and lavatory will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 1A and 1K.

Proximity of the galleys may also represent a problem to passengers of the seats of the 8th row.

Behind the exit row 21 seats of premium economy class are located. These seats have 130 degrees recline. Passengers of the seats of the 10th row will take advantage of extra space for their legs. For passengers travelling with babies these seats offer bassinets. These seats have some disadvantages: proximity of the lavatories, reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Economy class offers 225 standard seats that are located in two sections.

First section contains 11 rows of seats: 10 of them have 3-3-3 configuration and the last row of the section contains just 6 seats. Extra legroom provided by the seats of the 15th row makes these seats good seats. Passengers travelling with infants are often seated in this row. However, these seats are a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Limited recline and location of the lavatories behind are the main disadvantages of the seats 24DEG, 25BC and 25HJK.

Behind the exit row second section of economy class seats is located. There are 15 rows o seats here.

Passengers of the seats of the 30th row will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom. As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little. Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats. The seats 30BC and 30HJ are considered the best seats. Protrusion of the exit doors restricts extra legroom of the seats 30A and 30K a little. Location of the lavatory in front will cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats 30DEG. For passengers with babies these seats offer bassinets.

The noise from the lavatory and galley located behind the seats of the 43rd row (except the seat 43E) and the seats of the 44th row may be bothersome. Limited recline makes the seats 43ABC, 43HJK and 44DEG bad seats.

These characteristics have been reached by means of elongated by 6.5 meters body. Flying range has been also increased (by 500 kilometers). Commercial use of Boeing 787-9 began in 2014.

The cabin width is 5.5 meters that is bigger than in Airbus A330 and A340. The lightning is made on the base of light-emitting diodes that change color depending on the flight stage.

The windows size is 65% bigger than in other airplanes. Instead of common window blind they are equipped with electro chromic dimming system. Luggage bins are by 30% bigger.

First version of Boeing 777-300 is used by Air France during the flights to Caribbean and Indian Ocean.

There are three classes of seats on this airplane: business, premium economy and economy.

Business class consists of two rows of angle-flat seats that have 2-3-2 configuration. All these seats are standard. The seats 1AB and 1KL have bassinet location.

Premium Economy class has 4 rows of seats that have 2-4-2 configuration. The seats of the 5th row are considered good seats as they have extra legroom. Among disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing, reduced width of the seats as the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable. Position of the bassinet and bulkhead may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 5AB and 5KL.

The only disadvantage of the seats 8HKL is close location to the lavatory.

Most of the seats on this airplane are the seats of economy class: there are totally 422 seats here. Economy class seats are located in three sections.

First section has 17 rows of seats, 16 of them have 3-4-3 configuration and the last row has 6 seats. Passengers of the seats of the 10th row will take advantage of extra space for their legs. These seats are considered good seats. However these seats are narrower than standard, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and position of the bulkhead and bassinet may be bothersome.

The seats 11A, 11L and 23A and 23L are missing windows.

The seats 26EFGH and the seats of the 27th row are less reclining than standard as they are located in the last rows of the section.

Behind the exit row the second section of economy class seats is located. The seats 30A and 30L are considered bad seats. These seats have no windows. They have extra legroom but the bulkhead and bassinet position may cause discomfort. As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced. Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The other seats of the 30th row and namely the seats 30BC and 30JK are designated by Air France as preferred seats to reserve which an additional charge should be paid. Passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra space for their legs. However, close location of the lavatories may cause discomfort. These seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are narrower than standard as the tray tables are in the armrests.

The only disadvantage of the seats 31A and 31J is proximity of the lavatories.

Passengers traveling with infants are often seated on the seats 32EFGH as these seats have bassinet location. Among disadvantages of these seats: close location of the lavatory, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width of the seats.

The seats 42ABC and 42EFGH have limited recline. Proximity of the lavatory may cause discomfort as well.

Close location of the galley may be a problem for passengers of the seat 43J.
The seats of the 44th row are less reclining than other standard seats of the airplane.

The third section of economy class seats is located behind another exit row.

Passengers of the seats 45A and 45L will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom. But the width of these seats is reduced a little and there is no floor storage for these seats during take-off and landing.

The other seats of the 45th row, i.e. the seats 45BC, 45EFGH and 45JK these seats are considered good seats. These seats are narrower than standard ad have no floor storage during take-off and landing. The seats 45BC and 45JK are designated as preferred seats. An extra fee must be paid to reserve these seats. These seats nay have extra space for passengers’ legs. However, close location of the galley and lavatory may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats. Position of the bulkhead and bassinet may be bothersome for passengers of the seats 45EFGH.

As there are no seats behind other passengers tend to bump into the seats 54C and 54J.
The seats 57EFGH and the seats 58AB and 58KL are considered bad seats as they may be less reclining and are located close to the lavatory.

Second cabin version of the Boeing 777-300ER (77W) Four Class V1

This version of Boeing 777-300 is used by Air France during the flights to Asia and North America. It is the most common version in Air France.

The second cabin version may accommodate 303 passengers in four classes.

First class has 2 rows of 8 closed suites. All of them are standard.

Business class includes 67 angle-flat seats. 14 of them are located in the first sections that contains 2 rows of seats that have 2-3-2 configuration. The main disadvantage of the seats 4B, 4EG and 4KL is close location to the lavatory.

The other 53 seats of business class are located in the second section. Position of the bulkhead and basinet and proximity of the galley and lavatory may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 5th row and of the seats 6EFG. The seats 5AB and 5KL will be only sold in advance to passengers who are traveling with babies.

The seats 10A and 10L are missing windows.

Proximity of the lavatories will cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats of 12th row.

28 standard seats are located in premium economy class. Passengers of the seats 18AB and 18KL will take advantage of extra legroom. However, it can get cold during the flight by the exits. Other passengers tend to gather in this area while waiting to visit lavatories. As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little. There is no floor storage for these seats during take-off and landing. In addition the seats 18A and 18L have no windows.

Thanks to the bulkhead position the seats 19EFGH have extra space for passengers’ legs. Passengers with babies are often seated here as these seats have basinet location. Among disadvantages of these seats: proximity of the lavatories, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width.

Economy class may transport 200 passengers. The seats of the economy class are divided into two sections.

Passengers of the seats of the 23rd row will take advantage of extra legroom. But position of the bulkhead and bassinet may cause discomfort. As the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced. Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing. The seats 23AB and 23KL are perfect for passengers traveling with a companion.

As there are no seats in front the seats 24C and 24J have extra space for passengers’ legs. At the same time these seats have immovable armrests.

The seats 29C and 29J are often bumped by other passengers passing by as the seats behind are missing.

For passengers traveling with a partner are ideal seats 30AB. However, proximity of the lavatory may cause discomfort as well as for passengers of the seats 30EFGH. Also these seats are less reclining than standard.

The main disadvantage of the seats 31KL is close location to the galley.

Behind the exit row the second section of economy class seats is located.

The seats 35A and 35L are considered bad seats because of protrusion of the exit door that restricts legroom and because of missing windows. Also, these seats as well as the other seats of the 35th row are narrower than standard, have no floor storage during take-off and landing ad are located close to lavatories. The seats 35BC, 35EFGH and 35JK have extra space for passengers’ legs. An extra fee should be paid to reserve seats 35BC and 35JK as these seats are designated as preferred seats.

As there are no seats behind, the seats 43C and 43J are often bumped by crew members and other passengers passing by. Due to the curvature of the airplane these seats may feel cramped.

All AB and KL seats of the rows 44-48 are perfect for passengers traveling with a partner. All A and L seats of the rows 44-48 have extra storage due to large space between the seat and the window.

The seats 44B and 44K have less space for passengers’ legs.

The seats 47EFGH and the seats of the last 48th row may have limited recline. Other passengers tend to congregate in this area while waiting to visit lavatories. That is why these seats are considered bad seats.

The third version of Boeing 777-300 has 298 seats divided into 4 classes: first, business, premium economy and economy.

First class includes just 4 closed suites that are located in a row.

Business class has 60 flat bed seats that are located in two sections. First section consists of 4 rows of seats per 4 seats in each. The only disadvantage of the seats of the 6th row is proximity of the galleys and lavatories.

Behind the exit row the second section of business class seats is located. It consists of 11 rows of seats that have 1-2-1 configuration. All these seats are standard. Just close location of the seats of the 9th row to lavatories and galley may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats.

28 standard seats are located in premium economy class. First row consists of 4 seats. As this row is located behind the exit row, passengers of the seats 23AB and 23KL will feel comfortable thanks to extra space for their legs. But because of the lavatories that are located in this area other passengers tend to gather here causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Economy class may transport 206 passengers in two sections.

First section consists of 8 rows. Most of the seats have 3-4-3 configuration. The seats of the 28th row have limited legroom.

As there are no seats in front the seats 29C and 29J have extra space for passengers’ legs. But at the same time other passengers and crew members passing by tend to bump into these seat.

Due to missing seats behind other passengers tend to bump into the seats 34C and 34J.

Proximity of the lavatories may be a problem for passengers of the seats 35AB, 35EFGH and 36KL. In addition, the seats 36KL have limited recline.

The second section of economy class seats is located behind another exit row. Because of the protrusion of the exit doors the seats 39A and 39L have limited legroom. Close location of the lavatories is another disadvantage of these seats.

Air France designates the seats 36BC and 39JK as preferred seats to reserve which an extra must be paid. Passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra legroom. However, proximity of the lavatories may cause discomfort.

The best seats of the economy class are the seats 40EFGH because these seats have extra legroom.

Other passengers tend to bump into the seats 48C and 48J as there are no seats behind.

The only disadvantage of the seats 51B and 51K is close location of the lavatory.

The seats of the last 52nd row are bad seats as they are less reclining and are located close to the galleys and lavatory.

This version includes 322 seats.

First class consists of 4 closed suites.

Business class may transport 40 passengers on 40 angle-flat seats located in two sections. First section consists of 4 rows of seats that have 1-2-1 configuration. All these seats are standard, just proximity of the lavatories and galleys may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of 6th row.

The second section of business class consists of 6 rows of seats that have the same configuration as in the first section. The only disadvantage of the seats of the 9th row is close location of the lavatories and galleys.

Behind the business class Seats Plus are located. These seats are available during long-haul flights. These sections contains 5 rows of seats that may accommodate 48 passengers. Thanks to position of the bulkhead the seats of the 18th row have extra space for passengers’ legs. Passengers of the seats 19C and 19J will also take advantage of extra legroom due to missing seats in front. But these seats are often bumped by other passengers and crew members passing by.

Among disadvantages of the seats of the 22nd row is limited recline and proximity of the lavatories.

Premium Economy class includes 28 seats. The seats 23AB and 23KL have extra legroom thanks to the exit row located in front. But close location of the lavatories may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats as well as to passengers of the seats 24EFGH.

Economy class may transport 202 passengers. The seats of the economy class are divided into two sections. First sections contains 8 rows of seats. The seats of the 28th row may have less legroom because of the bulkhead position.

As there are no seats in front passengers of the seats 29C and 29J will take advantage of extra legroom. At the same time other passengers tend to bump into these seats when passing by. The seats 34C and 34J have the same disadvantage.

Proximity of the lavatory will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 35th row. Also these seats may be less reclining than standard as they are located in the last row of the section.

Second section of economy class seats is located behind the exit row that is why passengers of the seats 39ABC and 40EFGH will feel comfortable thanks to extra space for their legs. However proximity of the lavatory may be bothersome.

The seats 39JKL are considered the best seats in the economy class as they have extra legroom.

Due to missing seats behind the seats 48C and 48J are often bumped by crew members and other passengers passing by.

Other passengers tend to congregate in the tail of the airplane while waiting to visit lavatories thus causing discomfort to passengers of the seats 51B, 51E, 51H, 51K and to passengers of the last 52nd row. In addition the seats of the 52nd row may have limited recline.

Fifth cabin version of the Boeing 777-300ER (77W) Three Class

The last, 5th version of Boeing 777-300 operated by Air France may transport 383 passengers in three classes.

Business class may accommodate 42 passengers in 6 rows, 4 of which are located in the first section and 2 in the second one. All the seats have 2-3-2 configuration. Close location to the galley may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 4B, 4E, 4G and 4KL.

Passengers traveling with infants are often seated on the seats 5AB and 5EFG as these seats have bassinet location position of which may be bothersome.

Behind the business class the seats of premium economy class are located. There are 3 rows of seats here per 8 in each. The seats of the 14th row are considered good seats as they have extra space for passengers’ legs. Among disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width of these seats as the tray tables are in the armrests. The seats 14EFGH have bassinet location.

Economy class may accommodate 317 passengers. The seats of the economy class are divided into three sections. Most of the seats have 3-4-3 configuration. First section contains 8 rows of seats. Passengers of the seats of the 18th row will take advantage of extra legroom. Position of the bassinet may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 18AB. Also these seats are narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats 19C and 19J on the one hand have extra space for passengers’ legs but on the other – immovable armrests.

The only disadvantage of the seats 21A and 21L is misaligned windows.

Proximity of the lavatory will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 24EFGH, 24JKL and of the seats of the 25th row. In addition these seats may be less reclining than standard.

The second section of economy class seats contains 13 rows of seats. The seats 26A and 26L are considered bad seats because of the following reasons: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing, missing windows and reduced width.

The seats 26BC and 26JK are designated as preferred seats to reserve which an extra fee should be paid. These seats have extra legroom. At the same time these seats have the same disadvantages as all seats of this row. Position of the basinet may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 26EFGH.

Close location of the galley may represent problem to passengers of the seats 37EFGH, 38J and 39KL. Another disadvantage of the seats 37EFGH and 39KL is limited recline. The seats 38ABC may also have limited recline. Proximity of the lavatory and galley will cause discomfort as well.

The last 14 rows of the economy class are located in the third section. Because of the protrusion of the exit door the seats 41A and 41L have limited legroom. The other disadvantaged of these seats: close location of the lavatory, reduced width as the tray table are in the armrests making them immovable and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats 41BC and 41JK are designated as preferred seats. An extra charge must be paid to reserve these seats. Passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra space for their legs. As to disadvantages of these seats they are the same as of the seats 41A and 41L.

Passengers traveling with babies are often seated on the seats 43EFGH as these seats have bassinet location the position of which may be bothersome. As the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced. Close location of the galley may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats. Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Passengers and crew members passing by tend to bump into the seats 46C and 49J as there are no seats behind.

All AB and KL seats of the rows 50-54 are ideal for passengers traveling with a companion.

The seats 53EFGH and the seats of the 54th row may be less reclining than standard. Proximity of the lavatories may represent a problem as well.

First version of Boeing 777-200 has two classes of seats and may transport 251 passengers. It is the most common version.

First class has only 4 closed suited located in a row with 24 inches width.

Business class consists of 7 rows of angle-flat seats per 7 in each. The seats are located into two sections. First section has 3 rows of seats that have 2-3-2 configuration. All these seats are standard only close location of the lavatory may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 5GKL.

Second section of business class seats is located behind exit row and lavatories. Passengers traveling with infants are often seated on the seats of 6th row as they have bassinet location. Proximity of the galley and lavatories may represent problem.

Premium Economy class includes 3 rows of seats that have 2-4-2 configuration. Passengers of the seats of 22nd row will take advantage of extra legroom. At the same time these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing and their width is reduced a little as the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable. The seats 22KL have bassinet location position of which may be bothersome.

The seats 23A and 23L have no windows.

Economy class may accommodate 174 passengers. The seats of economy class are divided into two sections.

First section contains 48 seats in 5 rows. The best seats here are considered the seats of the 27th row. Among disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing, position of the bulkhead and bassinet location may be bothersome and as the ray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced.

As there are no seats in front, the seats 28C and 28J have extra space for passengers’ legs. However these seats have immovable armrests.

The seats located in the last row of the section, i.e. the seats of the 31st row are less reclining and located close to lavatories which may represent a problem.

The second section of economy class includes 14 rows of seats. Because of protrusion of the exit door the seats 35A and 35L have limited legroom. The other disadvantages are: lack of windows, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing, proximity of the lavatories and reduced width of the seats.

The seats 35BC and 35JK are designated by Air France as preferred seats to reserve which an extra fee must be paid. Passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra legroom that these seats offer. However the disadvantages of these seats are the same: proximity of the lavatories, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width.

The legroom of the seats 36EFGH is restricted. Also these seats have bassinet location which may be bothersome. As the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable these seats are narrower than standard. Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.

As there are no seats behind, the seats 43C and 43J are often bumped by other passengers and crew members passing by.

The main disadvantage of the seats 44B and 44K is limited space for passengers’ legs.

The seats of the last 48th row are considered bad seats due to close location of the galley and limited recline.

Second cabin version of the Boeing 777-200ER (772) Three Class V1

Second cabin version operated by Air France may accommodate 309 passengers in three classes: business, premium economy and economy.

Business class consists of 5 rows of seats that 2-3-2 configuration. Position of the bulkhead and bassinet may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 1AB and 1KL.

Close location of the galley may represent a problem to passengers of the seats 5AB and 5KL.

Premium Economy class has 3 rows of seats per 8 seats in each. All these seats are standard only the seats of the 10th row have some peculiarities. The main advantage of these seats is extra space for passengers’ legs. However, close location of the lavatories and galley may be bothersome. As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced. Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Economy class seats are located in two sections. There are 250 seats here. Most of them have 3-4-3 configuration.

Passengers of the seats of 19th row will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom. Among disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width. Bassinet location may be also bothersome for passengers of the seats 19AB and 19KL.

Due to missing seats in front, the seats 20C and 20J provide extra legroom for passengers. Another advantage of these seats are movable armrests. But these seats are often bumped by other passengers passing by and crew members as these seats jut out into the aisle.

The seats of the 31st row are less reclining and their close location to the lavatories may be bothersome.

The second section of economy class seats is located behind exit row.

The seats 35A and 35L have no windows, the legroom of these seats is restricted because of the protrusion of exit door. All the seats of the 35th row have the following disadvantages: other passengers tend to gather in this area while waiting to visit lavatories. There is no floor storage for these seats during take-off and landing and these seats are narrower than standard. However the seats 35BC and 35JK are designated by Air France as preferred seats to reserve which an extra charge should be paid. Passengers of these seats will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom.

Other passengers often bump into the seats 43C and 43J causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Proximity of the galley and limited recline make the seats 47EFGH and the seats of the 48th row bad seats.

Third cabin version of the Boeing 777-200ER (772) Three Class V2

The third version of Boeing 777-200 consists of three classes of seats.

Business class consists of 40 flat bed seats located in two sections. First section includes 7 rows of seats that have 1-2-1 configuration. The only disadvantage of the seats of the first row is close location of the lavatory and galley the noise from which may be bothersome.

Second section of business class seats has 3 rows of seats per 4 in each. Passengers traveling with infants are often seated on the seats 10A and 10L as these seats have bassinet locations. However, proximity of the lavatory may be bothersome for passengers of the seat 10L.

Behind the seats of business class 24 seats of premium economy class are located. There are totally 3 rows of seats here that have 2-4-2 configuration.

Economy class may transport 216 standard seats. Economy class is divided into two sections.

First section includes 9 rows of seats. 8 of them have 3-4-3 configuration and the first row has seats that have 2-4-2 configuration. The seats of the 23rd row are considered good seats as they have extra space for passengers’ legs. However, position of bassinets may cause some discomfort.

As there are no seats in front, the seats 24C and 24J have extra legroom providing additional comfort to passengers of these seats.

The main disadvantage of the seats of 31st row is close location of the lavatories.

Behind the exit row the second section of economy class seats is located. Passengers of the seats of 35th row will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom. Among disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing, reduced width and proximity of the lavatories and galley.

Passengers traveling with infants are often seated on the seats 36EFGH as these seats have bassinet location. Close location of the galley may cause inconvenience as well.

As there are no seats behind the seats 44C and 44J are often bumped by other passengers and crew members passing by.

The seats of the last 48th row are considered bad seats as other passengers tend to gather here while waiting to visit lavatories. The noise from the galleys may cause discomfort as well.

This version is operated by Air France during long-haul intercontinental flights.

316 passengers may transported by this airplane. Passengers may choose their seat among three classes: business, premium economy and economy.

First 4 rows of seats are the seats of business class. These seats have 1-2-1 configuration, so there are totally 16 open suites here. Business class suites have 180 degrees recline.

The only disadvantage of the seats of the 1st row is close location of the galley and lavatory. For passengers with infants the seats 1E and 1F offer bassinets.

Next three rows of seats represent seats of economy class. These seats have 2-4-2 configuration. The tray tables of the seats of the 7th row are in the armrests making them immovable and reducing the seat width. In addition these seats have no storage during take-off and landing.

The other two rows are designated by Air France as Seat Plus to reserve which an extra fee should be paid. Location of the galleys behind will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 9AB and 9KL.

Behind the exit row the other 4 rows of economy class seats are located. Congregation of passengers in the area of the seats 12AB and 12KL as well as the noise from the lavatory located here may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats. As there are no seats in front the tray tables of these seats are built-in the armrests making them immovable are reducing the width of the seats. Lack of storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.

As to the other 3 rows their seats are denoted as Seat Plus.

Premium class seats are located in the rows 19-21. These seats have 2-4-2 configuration. Passengers of the seats of the 19th row will take advantage of extra legroom. These seats are considered good seats. Among disadvantages: no storage during take-off and landing and slightly reduced seat width.

The last 23 rows on this airplane offer the seats of economy class. These seats are divided into 2 sections. First section contains 9 rows of seats. The seats of the first rows are considered the best seats. Passengers travelling with babies are often seated on the seats of the 23rd row as these seats offer bassinet locations. Also these seats have extra legroom providing additional comfort to passengers of these seats. However, these seats have no storage during take-off and landing and are a little narrower than standard.

As there are no seats in front, the seats 24C and 24J offer additional space for passengers’ legs.

The main disadvantage of the seats of the 31st row is location of the lavatories behind.

Second section of economy class seats is located behind the exit row.

Due to the exit row located in front the seats of the 35th row have extra legroom. However, location of the galley and lavatories in front of these seats, lack of storage during take-off and landing and reduced width of the seats may cause discomfort.

Extra legroom offered by the seats 36EFGH makes these seats good seats. For passengers travelling with infants these seats offer bassinets.

Because of missing seats behind the seats 44C and 44J passengers tend to bump into these seats when passing by.

The noise from the galleys and lavatories located behind may represent problem to passengers of the seats 47B, 47E, 47H, 47K and the seats of the last 48th row.

Fifth cabin version of the Boeing 777-200ER (772) Three Class V4

This airplane may accommodate 312 passengers: 28 in business class, 24 in premium economy and 260 in economy.

First 7 rows of the airplane contain 28 open suites of the business class. All these seats have 180 degrees recline. Passengers travelling with babies are often seated on the seats of the 1st row because bassinets may be located on a nearby bulkhead. Location of the lavatory and galley in front may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats. But lavatory and galley located behind the seats of the 7th row is the only disadvantage of these seats.

Behind the seats of business class 3 rows of premium economy class seats are located. These seats have 2-4-2 configuration. So, there are 24 seats here. The noise from the lavatory and galley located in front may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 10th row. Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing. Passengers travelling with infants should choose the seats 10K or 10L.

Economy class may accommodate 260 passengers. Most of the seats here have 3-4-3 configuration.

Passengers of the seats of the 18th row will feel comfortable thanks to additional space for their legs. Among disadvantages: these seats are a little narrower than standard because video monitors and tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable; there is no floor during take-off and landing. For passengers travelling with babies bassinets might be positioned on the bulkhead ahead of the seats 18AB and 18KL.

Air France designates the seats 18EFGH as Seats at the Front of the Cabin. These seats may be reserved for additional fee.

Due to missing seats in front the seats 19C and 19J have extra legroom. These seats may be selected for extra charge. But at the same time these seats are often bumped by crew members and other passengers passing by, have reduced width and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Proximity of the galley and lavatories will cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats 30ABC, 30 E, 31EFGH and 31JKL. Aisle position is one more disadvantage of the seats 30C and 31J because these seats may be bumped by crew members and passengers passing by. Because of the wall located behind the seats 30ABC, 31EFGH and 31JKL are less reclining than standard.

Second section of economy class seats is located behind the exit door.

Passengers of the seats 35ABC will feel comfortable thanks to additional legroom. Location of the tray tables and video monitors in the armrests reduced the width of these seats a little. Among other disadvantages: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and close location of the lavatories and galley. Protrusion of the exit door inside reduces additional legroom of the seat 35A a little. An additional fee must be paid to reserve the seats 35ABC because these seats are designated by Air France as Seat Plus.

Passengers travelling with babies are often seated on the seats 36EFGH and 36JKL because these seats offer bassinet locations. Also passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra legroom. However, these seats are a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats 44C and 44J are often bumped by passengers and crew members passing by de to missing seats behind.

AB and KL seats of the rows 45-48 are ideal for passengers travelling with a partner. An extra fee must be paid to choose these seats.

The only disadvantage of the seats 47B, 47E, 47H and 47K is location of the lavatories and galleys behind.

Limited recline and lavatories and galleys located behind make the seats of the last 48th row bad seats.

The lower deck contains seats of both classes: business and economy.

Business class contains 36 angle-flat seats located in two sections.

First section contains 4 rows of seats that have 2-2 configuration. The only disadvantage of the seats of 4th row is proximity of the galley.

The second section of business class seats is located behind exit row and lavatories. This section includes 4 rows of seats, 3 of them have 2-2-2 configuration and the last, 8th row has 2 seats.

Passengers traveling with infants are often seated in the 5th row as these seats have bassinet location.

Proximity of the galley may represent problem to passengers of the seats 8KL.

Economy class of the lower deck is divided into three sections.

The seats 14A and 14L have limited legroom because the exit door protrudes in this area. In addition the width of these seats is reduced as the tray tables are built-in the armrests. Also there is no floor storage for these seats during take-off and landing.

Air France designates the seats 14BC and 14JK as preferred seats. To reserve these seats an extra fee must be paid. Passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra space for their legs. Among disadvantages: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing, reduced width of the seats and close location of the stairs and galleys.

Proximity of the galley will cause inconvenience to passengers of the all C and J seats of the rows 15-19.

The seats 19EFGH have no floor storage during take-off and landing. As the tray tables are located in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little. Position of the bulkhead and proximity of the galley may cause discomfort as well.

The seats 23Aand 23L are missing windows.

Limited recline and close location to the lavatories may be bothersome for passengers of the seats 25EFGH and of the seats of 26th row.

The second section of economy class seats consists of 11 rows. The seats of the 28th row and the seats 29A and 29L are designated as preferred seats. To reserve these seats passengers should pay an additional charge. The main advantage of these seats is extra legroom. Among disadvantages: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing, reduced width of the seats. Also, close location to lavatories may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of 28th row.

Passengers travelling with infants are often seated on the seats 29EFGH as these seats have bassinet location. These seats have limited legroom, are narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Close location of the galley may represent a problem for passengers of the seats 36EFGH, 37C, 37JKL and 38ABC. In addition the seats 37JKL and 38ABC may be less reclining.

Behind another exit row the third section of economy class seats is located.

Because of the protrusion of the exit door, the seat 40A has less space for passengers’ legs. Also, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are narrower than standard as the tray tables are built-in the armrests.

The seats 40BC are designated as preferred seats. Passengers of these seats will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom. The main disadvantages of these seats are: proximity of the galley, reduced width of the seats and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Proximity of the galley is the only disadvantage of the seats 41C, 42C and 43C.

Position of the bulkhead may be bothersome for passengers of the seats 43JKL and 44EFGH. The tray tables of these seats are in the armrests making them immovable and reducing the width. Also there is no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats BC and JK of the rows 53-55 are ideal for passengers that are travelling with c companion.

The seats 55BC and 55JK are less reclining.

The seats of the last row, i.e. the seats of the 57th row are considered bad seats as they have limited recline and are located close to lavatories and galley.

UPPER DECK

The upper deck consists of 10 rows of economy class seats that have 3-3 configuration. All these seats, except the seats 60JKL are designated by Air France as preferred seats. An extra charge should be paid to reserve these seats.

The seats 60ABC have extra legroom providing additional comfort to passengers of these seats. However, these seats are narrower than standard, have no floor storage during take-off and landing, proximity of the galley may be also bothersome.

Passengers traveling with infants are often seated on the seats 60JKL as they have bassinet location. Position of the bulkhead and lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of these seats. In addition, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing. As the tray tables are in the armrests, the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

All K seats of the rows 61-68 have limited under seat and storage room as entertainment equipment is stored here. All L seats of the rows 61-68 have storage box between the wall and armrest providing additional storage space and elbow room.

Behind the exit row the second section of economy class seats is located. That is why the seats of the 65th row have extra legroom thanks to which passengers will feel comfortable. Among disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width.

Close location to the stair and lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of 69th row. Also these seats may be less reclining as it is the last row.

Airplane differs from previous models not only in elongated upper deck (as in case of Boeing 747-300) but also with increased by 3.66 meters wing span on the tips of which vertical aerodynamic surfaces of 1.8 meters height are located, two-place cockpit, presence of digital complex electronic hardware EFIS and electronic control system. In the wing construction are used compositions used on Boeing 757 and 767 as result the weight of construction is reduced by 2.7 tones.

Cabins of all three classes of Boeing 747-400 and 747-200 impress with deepness of space. Thanks to oversized luggage compartments that may accommodate even the most bulky baggage passengers are not restricted with anything on their seats.

Very wide angle-flat seats of the first class may be fully reclined that allows to fully relax during long-haul flights.

Airbus A380-800 is two-decked airplane that may transport 516 passengers in 4 classes.

The lower deck has the seats in two classes: first and economy.

First class has 9 open suites. All of them are standard.

Economy class of the upper deck consists of three sections.

First section includes 17 rows of seats. There are totally 148 seats here. Most of them have 3-4-3 configuration. The seats of the 10th row are designated by Air France as preferred seats. To reserve these seats an extra fee should be paid. Among disadvantages of these seats is close location of the lavatory and galley.

As there are no seats in front, the seats 11A and 11L have extra legroom. These seats are considered good seats. Proximity of the lavatory and galley may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 11C, 11J, 12C, 12J, 14C, 14J.

Passengers traveling with infants are often seated on the seats 15DEFG as these seats have bassinet location. Also the legroom of these seats is limited. Close location of the lavatory may represent problem as well.

Passengers tend to gather in the area of the last rows of first section causing discomfort to passengers of the seats 26DEFG and for passengers of the 27th row.

Behind the exit row the second section of economy class seats is located. This section has 13 rows of seats containing 121 seats. The seats 30ABC and 30JKL are designated by Air France as preferred seats. An extra fee should be paid to reserve these seats. These seats are considered good seats as passengers of these seats will be able to take advantage of extra space for their legs. However, proximity to the lavatory may cause discomfort. The other seats of the 30th row, i.e. the seats 30DEFG on the contrary have limited legroom because of the bassinets’ location. Close location of the lavatory is another disadvantage of these seats.

Due to missing seat in front, the seat 34D has extra legroom. This seat is designated by Air France as preferred seat to reserve which an extra charge should be paid.

Close location of the galley may represent a problem to passengers of the seats 40DEFG, 42ABC and 42JKL.

Behind another exit row and galleys the third section of economy class seats is located. There are 8 rows of seats here. The seats of the 7 rows have 3-4-3 configuration. The last row has 4 seats. So, there are 74 seats here. The seats of the 45th row have less space for passengers’ legs because of the bassinets location. Proximity of the galleys may cause discomfort as well.

Proximity of the lavatories and stairs will represent a problem for passengers of the seats 51ABC, 51JKL and of the last 52th row of the section. These seats are considered bad seats.

UPPER DECK

The Upper deck contains seats of three classes: business, premium economy and economy class.

The major part of the upper deck contains the seats of business class. These seats are located in two sections. First sections has 26 seats. Most of them have 2-2-2 configuration. The seats of the 60th row have smaller TV screens that have 9 inches instead of 15. As the TV screens are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little. Close location of the lavatory may represent a problem for passengers of the seats 60ABE.

Proximity of the galleys and lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 64AB.

The second section of Business class seats consists of 9 rows of seats that have 2-2-2 configuration.

As the seats of the 65th row are located near lavatories, it may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats. Passengers traveling with infants are often seated on the seats 65EF.

Behind the exit row 38 seats of premium economy class are located. Passengers of the seats 80EFG may have less legroom. Passengers traveling with infants are often seated here.

The seats 81AB and 81KL are considered good seats as they have extra space for passengers’ legs. But location of the TV in the armrests may be bothersome.

In the tail of the airplane the seats of economy class are located. The major part of these seats is are designated by Air France as preferred seats. These are all AB and KL seats of the rows 88-94 and the seats of the 90th row. An extra fee must be paid to reserve these seats.

The seats of the 88th row have limited space for passengers’ legs. As the tray tables and personal TV are built-in the armrests the width of the seats 88AB and 88KL is reduced a little. Position of the bassinet may be bothersome for passengers of the seats 88DEFG.

The main disadvantage of the seats 89AB and 89KLis limited recline.

The best seats here are the seats of the 90th row. Passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra legroom. However high traffic in this area may cause discomfort.

Passengers of the seats 91AB and 91KL will feel comfortable thanks to extra space for their legs. But the width of these seats is reduced.

Close location of the galley and lavatories will represent problem for passengers of the seats 93AB and of the seats of 94th row. These seats are considered bad seats.
