The best seats in this section are seats 24BC and 24DE. These seats offer additional legroom to passengers as well as the seats 24A and 24F. However, these seats have such disadvantages as: no floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width because the armrests are immovable as the tray tables are built-in the armrests. Missing windows make the seats 24A and 24F bad seats.

Close location of the lavatories is the main disadvantage of the seat 35C.

Congregation of passengers who are waiting to use lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 35DEF and 36ABC. Also these seats are less reclining than standard. That is why these seats are considered bad seats.

This version of Airbus A321 may accommodate 188 passengers in two classes.

The seats of the rows 1-4 are business class seats. In business class the middle seats are blocked (they are not sold). So, there are 4 seats in each row, per 2 in each side. Initial modification A321-100 wasn’t able to compete in full with American airplane Boeing 757-200 that is why in 1994 German company DASA, member of Airbus Industry corporation initiated creation of modification with increased take-off weight and flying range.

The seat 19A is designated by Delta Airlines as preferred seat to reserve which passenger has to be a Delta Medallion member. For other passengers this seat becomes available at time of check-in. The window of this seat is misaligned.

Proximity of the lavatory may represent problem for passengers of the seats 24ABC, 24D and 25D.

Behind the exit row the second section of economy class seats is located. Due to exit row located in front the seats of the 26th row and the seat 27A offer extra legroom. These seats are designated as preferred seats that are reserved for Delta Medallion members and become available for other passengers at time of check-in. However, close location of the lavatory may be bothersome for passengers of the seats 26BC.

The only disadvantage of the seat 38C is proximity of the galley.
