Boeing 787 is the first airplane in history that by 50% consists of low-weighted and reliable composite materials. Dreamliner was created to replace outdated airplane Boeing 767.

The cabin of Boeing 787 was constructed in compliance with the newest technologies. First of all, designers took care of the space that is why the ceiling was projected in form of the arch that provides the feeling of larger space than common aisles in other airplanes.

First cabin version of the Boeing 777-300ER (77W) Three Class

First version of Boeing 777-300 is the most common in Etihad Airways fleet. This airplane offers 330 seats of three classes: first, business and economy.

First class may accommodate just 8 passengers. There are 8 closed suites here that have 180 degrees recline. The only disadvantage of the seats of the 1st row is location of the galleys and lavatory in front.

Business class contains 40 flat bed seats. Behind the first class seats first two rows of business class seats are located. Proximity of the galley will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 6D and 6G.

The other 8 rows of business class seats are located behind the exit row. These seats have 1-2-1 configuration. During overnight flights the light from the galleys located in front will disturb passengers of the seats of the 7th row.

Missing windows make the seats 12C and 12H bad seats.

Economy class consists of 282 standard seats that are located in three sections.

First sections has 3 rows of seats. The seats of the 15th row are considered good seats as they have extra space for passengers legs. But the width of these seats is reduced a little as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable. The seats 15DEFG offer bassinet locations.

Location of the lavatories behind is the disadvantage of the seats 16DEFG, 17 ABC and 17HJK. Also the seats 16DEFG may be less reclining than standard.

Behind the exit row the second section of economy class seats is located. This section contains 14 rows of seats: 13 of them have 3-4-3 configuration and 1 row with 4 seats. Passengers of the seats of the 18th row will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom. Among disadvantages of these seats: reduced width and close location of the lavatories. For passengers with babies the seats 18DEFG have bassinet locations.

The noise from the galleys located behind will cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats 30ABC, 30D, 30G, 30HJK and of the seats 31DEFG.

The third section of economy class seats is located behind another exit row. Thanks to the position of the bulkhead the seats 32ABC and 32HJK have extra legroom. However, these seats are narrower than standard. Another disadvantage of the seat 32K is lack of window. The noise and the light from the galley located nearby will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 32C, 32H and 33C, 33H.

Due to position of the bulkhead the seats 34DEFG offer extra legroom. As the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little. Passengers traveling with infants are often seated here as these seats have bassinet locations.

As there are no seats behind the seats 40C and 40H are often bumped by other passengers and crew members passing by.

Passengers tend to congregate in the area of the seats 44D, 44G and of the seats of the 45th row in order to visit lavatories and thus causing discomfort to passengers of these seats. Limited recline makes the seats 45DEFG bad seats.

Second cabin version of the Boeing 777-300ER (77W) Two Class V1

This version of Boeing 777-300 may accommodate 412 passengers in two classes: business and economy.

First 7 rows represent seats of business class. there are totally 28 flat bed seats here per 4 in each row. All seats of business class have 180 degree recline. Location of the galleys and lavatory in front is the only disadvantage of the seats of the 5th row. Galleys located behind the seats 11EF may also represent problem to passengers of these seats.

Economy class seats are located behind the exit row. There are 384 standard seats here. These seats are divided by exit rows into three sections. Most of the economy class seats have 3-4-3 configuration.

First section consists of 13 rows of seats. First row consists of 4 seats and the other 12 have 3-4-3 configuration. Because of the bulkhead position the seats 15DEFG, 16 ABC and 16HJK have less space for passengers’ legs. As the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little. Close location of the lavatories is another disadvantage of these seats as well as lack of floor storage during take-off and landing. For passengers with babies the seats 15DEFG offer bassinet locations.

Missing windows make the seats 25A and 25K bad seats.

Other passengers tend to gather in the area of the seats 26CD, 26GH and of the seats of the 27th row while waiting to visit lavatories and thus causing discomfort to passengers of these seats. In addition the seats of the 27th row are less reclining than standard.

Second section of economy class seats has 14 rows of seats: 1 row with 4 seats, 2 rows with 6 seats and 11 rows with 10 seats in each.

Passengers of the seats 28DEFG, 29ABC and 29HJK will take advantage of extra legroom. Among disadvantages of these seats: reduced width, close location of the lavatories and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing. The seats 29A and 29K have no windows that is why these seats are considered bad seats.

The noise from the lavatories located behind will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 40CD and 40GH and 41ABC and 41HJK. Limited recline is another disadvantage of the seats of the 41st row.

The third section of economy class contains 130 seats that are located in 14 rows.

The main disadvantages of the seats of the 42nd roware: proximity of the galleys, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable. For passengers travelling with infants the seats 42DEFGhave bassinet locations. Because of the bulkhead position these seats have less legroom space. The seats 42ABC and 42HJK on the contrary offer extra legroom.

As there are no seats behind the seats 50C and 50H are often bumped by other passengers and crew members passing by.

The noise from the lavatories and galleys will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 54BD, 54GJ and of the seats of the last 55th row. Passengers of the seats of the last 55th row will be among the last to deplane upon arrival. The bulkhead located behind makes these seats less reclining than standard. These seats are considered bad seats.

Third cabin version of the Boeing 777-300ER (77W) Two Class V2

The third version of Boeing 777-300 may transport 380 passengers in two classes.

Business class offers 40 flat bed seats that are located in 10 rows. These seats are divided into two sections. First section contains 4 rows of seats that have 1-2-1 configuration. All these seats are standard, only close location to the lavatories and galleys may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 5C, 5H and of the seats of the 11th row.

Behind the exit row the second section of business class seats is located. Location of the lavatories and galleys in front is the main disadvantage of the seats of the 12th row.

Behind the seats of business class 340 seats of economy class are located. These seats are located in three sections. First section of economy class seats includes 8 rows of seats that have 3-4-3 configuration. The seats of the 20th row are considered good seats as they offer extra legroom to passengers. Close location of the lavatories will cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats 27BC, 27 DEFG and 27HJ.

Second section of economy class seats may accommodate 130 passengers. Because of the bulkhead position the seats 28DEFG have less space for passengers’ legs. Location of the lavatories in front is another disadvantage of these seats.

Passengers of the seats 29ABC and 29HJK will take advantage of extra legroom. Proximity of the lavatories will cause some discomfort to passengers of the seats 29CD and 29GH.

The noise from the galleys located behind is the main disadvantage of the seats 40C, 40DEFG, 40H, 41A and 41H.

The third section of economy class seats is located behind the exit row.

Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the 42nd row offer extra legroom. Proximity of the galley will represent a problem.

Due to missing seats behind the seats 50C and 50H are often bumped by service carts and other passengers passing by.

Other passengers tend to gather in the area of the seats 54B, 54J and of the seats of the last 55th row in order to visit lavatories and thus causing discomfort to passengers of these seats. Also limited recline makes the seats of the 55th row bad seats.

This airplane may accommodate 225 passengers in three classes: first, business and economy.

The seats of first two rows are the seats of the first class. There are 8 closed suites here that have 180 degree recline. Passengers with babies are often seated on the seats 1G and 1K as they offer bassinet locations.

Behind the seats of the first class 40 flat bed seats of business class are located. These seats have 1-2-1 configuration and are located in two sections. First sections consists of 2 rows of seats. For passengers traveling with infants the seats of the 5th row have bassinet locations. Location of the galleys and lavatory behind will represent problem for passengers of the seats of the 6th row.

The second section of business class contains 8 rows of seats. The only disadvantage of the seats of the 7th row is the noise from the galleys and lavatory located in front. The seats 7EF have bassinet locations.

Economy class may transport 177 passengers. The seats of the economy class are divided into two sections.

First section has 6 rows of seats. There are totally 57 seats here. Because of the bulkhead position the seats of the 15th row have limited space for passengers’ legs.

Other passengers tend to gather in the area of the seats 19G, 19HJK and the seats of the 20th row in order to visit lavatories and thus causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

The second section of economy class seats is located behind the exit row. Passengers of the seats 21A and 21C will take advantage of extra legroom. However, these seats are narrower than standard, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are located close to the galley and lavatories.

The seats of the 22nd row have extra legroom. The best seats here are considered the seats 22A and 22B. Among disadvantages of the seats 22C and 22HJK: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing, reduced width as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable and proximity of the galley and lavatories.

Extra legroom makes the seats 24DEFG good seats. However, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

As there are no seats behind the seats 30C and 30H are often bumped by service carts and other passengers passing by.

The only disadvantage of the seats 34C and 34H is location of the galleys behind.

Limited recline and location of the galleys and lavatories behind make the seats 34DEFG, 35AB and 35HK bad seats.

THE LOWER DECK
The lower deck of the Airbus A380-800 contains only seats of the economy class. There are totally 415 seats here that are divided into 4 sections separated from each other with exit rows.

First section contains 9 rows of seats. Because of the exit door protrusion the seats 40A and 40K have limited space for passengers’ legs. In addition these seats have no windows that is why these seats are considered bad seats. The other seats of this row and namely, the seats 40BC and 40HJ are on the contrary the best seats as they offer extra legroom.

Due to position of the bulkhead the seats 43DEFG have restricted legroom. Location of the stairs in front is also a disadvantage. For passengers traveling with babies these seats have bassinet location.

The noise from the galleys and lavatories located behind as well as limited recline are the main disadvantages of the seats of the 48th row.

The second section of economy class seats consists of 15 rows: 14 of them have 3-4-3 configuration and 1 row has 3-3 configuration.

Passengers traveling with babies are often seated on the seats of the 49th row as they have bassinet locations. These seats have limited legroom because of the bulkhead position. The noise from the galleys located in front may be also bothersome.

Passengers tend to congregate in the area of the seats 62C, 62DEFG, 62H, 63ABC and 63HJK while waiting to use lavatories and thus causing some discomfort to passengers of these seats. Another disadvantage of the seats 52DEFG, 63ABC and 63HJK is limited recline.

11 rows are located in the third section of economy class seats.

Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the 64th row have extra legroom. However, proximity of the lavatories may cause inconvenience to passengers of these seats. The seats 64DEFG have bassinet locations.

Due to missing seat in front the seat 69D offers extra legroom.

Location of the galleys behind may represent a problem for passengers of the seats 73C, 73DEFG, 73H and of the seats of the 74th row. Also, the seats 73DEFG, 74 ABC and 74 HJK may be less reclining than standard.

The last section of economy class may accommodate 88 passengers. Passengers of the seats of the 75th row will take advantage of extra legroom. At the same time location of the galleys in front may cause discomfort. For passengers with babies the seats 75DEFG have bassinet locations.

As there are no seats in front the seats 76A and 76K offer extra space for passengers legs. These seats are considered good seats.

The only disadvantage of the seats 82CD and 82GH is location of the lavatories behind.

Limited recline and proximity of the lavatories make the seats of the 83th row bad seats.

THE UPPER DECK

The upper deck contains 79 seats of two classes: first and business.

First class offers 9 closed suites with 180 degree recline. Also first class contains such luxurious living space as “The Residence” that may accommodate 2 persons. This space has shower, living room and private bedroom.

Business class consists of 70 flat bed seats that also have 180 degree recline. The only disadvantage of the seats of the 8th row is location of the in-flight lounge in front.

Proximity of the lavatories may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 17C, 17H and of the seats of the 18th row.

Behind the exit row the other 6 rows of business class seats are located. Other passengers tend to gather in the area of the seats of the 19th row in order to visit lavatories and causing discomfort to passengers of these seats. Passengers traveling with babies are often seated on the seats of the 23rd row as they offer bassinet locations.

Behind another exit row the last 2 rows of business class is located. There are totally 6 seats here. The seats of the 25th row have bassinet locations. The main disadvantage of the seats 26EF is proximity of the galleys and lavatories the noise from which may cause discomfort for passengers of these seats.

“Etihad Airways” operates 10 aircrafts Airbus A380-800. Airbus A380 is two-deck, four-engine airplane constructed by Airbus S.A.S.

For today aircrafts Airbus A380 are the biggest passenger airplanes. Though it worth to mention that AN-225 holds the record of being the biggest commercial airplane in the world.

Airbus A380 is sold in two versions: intended for 555 passengers of three classes or for 853 passengers of the only economy class. Mass-media have named A380 “supergiant”.
This airplane offers seats of three classes: first, business and economy.

First class consists of 2 rows of closed suites that have 1-2-1 configuration. These suites have 180 degree recline. All of them are standard.

Business class seats contain 8 rows of seats per 4 in each. So, there are totally 32 flat bed seats with 180 degree recline. The seats of the 5th row are considered the best seats of the business class as they offer extra space for passengers legs and are more private. For passengers with babies the seats 5EF have bassinet locations.

Location of the galleys behind will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 12D and 12G.

Economy class may accommodate 276 passengers. The seats of the economy class are divide into three sections, most of them have 2-4-2 configuration.

Fist sections includes 8 rows of seats. Passengers of the seats of the 15th row will take advantage of extra space for their legs. Among disadvantages: location of the lavatory and galley in front, reduced width of the seats and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing. Passengers traveling with infants are often seated on these seats as they have bassinet locations.

Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 22nd row are less reclining than standard.

The second section of economy class seats contains 14 rows of seats. The seats of the 23rd row are considered the best seats of the economy class as they have extra legroom.

The main disadvantages of the seats of the 36th row are: limited recline and location of the lavatories behind.

Behind the exit row the third section of economy class seats is located. Passengers of the seats 37AC, 37HK and 39DEFG will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom. However, the noise from the galley and lavatories may represent a problem.

The seats 46D and 46G are often bumped by service carts as there are no seats behind.

Passengers tend to congregate in the area of the seats 49C, 49D, 49G and 49H while waiting to use lavatories and thus causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Location of the galleys and lavatories behind the seats of the last 50th row makes these seats bad seats.

This airplane may accommodate 240 passengers in three classes: diamond first, pearl business and coral economy.

First three rows represent seats of first class. There are totally 12 closed suites here. These suites have 180 degree recline. The only disadvantage of the seats of the 1st and 3rd rows is close location of the galleys and lavatories.

Behind the seats of the first class 28 flat bed seats of the business class are located. Passengers of the seats of the 5th row will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom. However, other passengers tend to congregate in the area of these seats in order to visit lavatories and thus causing discomfort to passengers.

The noise from the galleys located behind may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 11th row.

Economy class mat transport 200 passengers. The seats of the economy class are divided into two sections.

First section contains 9 rows of seats: 8 of them have 2-4-2 configuration and 1 rows with 4 seats. Passengers of the seats of the 15th row will take advantage of extra space for their legs. Among disadvantages of these seats: location of the galleys in front, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width.

Location of the lavatories behind will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 22C, 22DEFG, 22H and the seats of the 23rd row. Limited recline is another disadvantage of the seats 22DEFG, 22AC and 22HK.

The second section of economy class seats is located behind the exit row. Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the 24th row offer extra legroom. However, as the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little. Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are located close to lavatories.

The seats 36D and 36G are often bumped by service carts due to missing seats behind. The main disadvantages of the seats 37DFG is reduced width and limited legroom.

Passengers of the seats AC and HK of the rows 37-39 may feel neck strain while watching TVs that are located on the backs of the seats in front that are misaligned. Also these seats may feel narrower and cramped due to curvature of the airplane.

Location of the lavatory will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 39C, 39D, 39G and 39H.

Limited recline and location of the galley and lavatories behind make the seats of the 40th row bad seats.
