Air Malta is national air carrier of Malta with head quarter in Luqa and main hub in Malta International Airport. It was founded in 1973 on the resolution of Malta government.
Route network counts about 40 directions, mainly these are regular and charter flights to Europe, Middle East and to Northern Africa. Winter Airline Company often leases out airplanes in order to minimize loss during “low season”.
