“TAP Portugal” operates 4 aircrafts Airbus A321-200. There are two versions of airplane Airbus A321: with one class cabin and two class cabin.
In two class configuration Airbus A321 may accommodate 185 passengers but in one class – up to 220. In the new model A321neo Airbus plans to increase passenger capacity at the expense of optimized use of the airplane’s cabin. New changes of the designing will allow to increase the number of passenger seats up to 240 still keeping comfortable seats of 18 inches width.
Airbus A321 as well as A320 has 4 doors (per two at each side of the fuselage, in the fore and tail parts) and 4 emergency exits (per two at each side of the fuselage in the middle part). But as compared to A320 the emergency exits of Airbus A321 are not located side by side but located far from each other.
