“Air Canada” operates 7 aircrafts Boeing 767-300. About creation of extended version of Boeing 767-200 Boeing Company has informed in February 1982.
To increase passenger capacity the airplane’s body was elongated due to installation of two additional sections. First section 3.08 meters long was installed in front of lifting wing, the second section 3.35 meters long was located in the rear fuselage. New airplane got the designation 767-300.
Typical configuration scheme of Boeing 767-300 has three classes that allows accommodating 210 passenger seats. In two-class configuration the cabin of the airplane accommodates 269 passengers: 25 of them are of business class and 244 seats are of economy class. In maximal economy configuration aircraft’s capacity makes 328 passenger seats. In 1989 Boeing 767-300 was certified for maximal passenger capacity of 360 seats.
