Flydubai operates two versions of Boeing 737-800.

First cabin version of the Boeing 737-800 (738) Layout 1

189 economy class seats of this airplane have 30 inches pitch and 18 inches width.

First version is the most common in Flydubai fleet. Most of 32 rows in the airplane have 3-3 configuration. Only the seats of the 1st row offer just 3 seats.

Passengers of the seats 1ABC and 2DEF will take advantage of extra legroom thanks to the bulkhead located in front. However, noise from lavatory and galley located in front, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width of the seats because the tray tables are located in the armrests may be bothersome.

The only disadvantage of the seat 2C is close location of the lavatory and galley.

Due to the exit row located behind the seats of the 14th row are less reclining than standard.

Passengers of the seats of the 15th row will feel comfortable thanks to additional legroom. On the other hand these seats have limited recline because of the exit row located behind.

The seats of the 16th row are considered the best seats on the airplane. Thanks to the exit row located in front these seats have extra space for passengers’ legs.

Congregation of passengers that are waiting to use lavatories near the seats 31C and 31D will cause discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Limited recline and close location of the galley and lavatory make the seats of the last 32rd row bad seats.

Second version of Boeing 737-800 offers 174 seats of two classes: business and economy.

Business class may accommodate 12 passengers and offers recliner seats that have 42 inches pitch and 21 inches width. Business class is located in the first three rows that have 2-2 configuration. The only disadvantage of the seats of the 1st row is close location of the galley and lavatory in front.

Economy class offers 162 seats with 30 inches pitch and 18 inches width. All the seats of the economy class have 3-3 configuration.

The seats are divided into several sections. First section contains 9 rows. Due to the bulkhead located in front the seats of the 6th row have extra legroom. Among disadvantages: reduced width of the seats due to immovable armrests and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Missing windows make the seats 12A and 12F bad seats.

Limited recline will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 14th row.

Location of the seats of the 15th row between two exit rows on the one hand offers extra legroom to passengers but on the other these seats are less reclining than standard.

The last section of economy class seats consists of 17 rows. Passengers of the seats of the 16th row will take advantage of additional space for their legs. These seats are the best seats of the economy class.

Noise from the galley and lavatory will be bothersome for passengers of the seats 31C and 31D.

The seats of the 32nd row are considered bad seats because of limited recline and lavatory and galley located behind.
