First class of the Boeing 737-900 has 20 recliner seats that have 2-2 configuration. The seats of the 1st row may have less space for passengers’ legs because of the bulkhead located in front. Close location to the lavatory and galleys may also cause inconvenience. The tray tables of the seats 1A and 1B are built-in the armrests making it immovable.

The seats of the last row in the first class, i.e. the seats of the 5th row may be less reclining.

In Economy comfort class there are 21 seats. Three seats of the 10th row 10A, 10B and 10C have extra legroom but as the tray tables and TV are located in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced. Also close location to closet may be bothersome. The seat 11D has the same advantage as the seats of the 10th row, i.e. extra legroom and the same disadvantage as reduced width. The seats 11E and 11F may have less space for passengers’ legs and their width is also reduced.

Economy class may transport 139 passengers. The seat 15A has no window. This seat is a Preferred Seat and it may be chosen by Delta Medallion members when booking or later.

The seats of the 18th row may have limited recline because of the emergency exit located behind.

Passengers of the 19th row may take advantage of extra space for their legs but at the same time these seats may be less reclining because of the another exit located behind. All the seats of the 19th row may be chosen by Delta Medallion members at time of booking or afterwards. These seats may be given to other passengers at time of check-in if available.

The seats of the 20th row have no extra space for passengers’ legs and are not reclining. These seats are also designated by Delta Airlines as Preferred seats.

The seats 21A and 21F are the best seats in the airplane with extra legroom and may be selected by Delta Medallion members.

The seats 29A and 29F are standard but have misaligned windows.

The seats 36A, 36B, 36C and 36D as well as the seats of the last 37th row are located close to the lavatories. Also, al these seats, except the seat 36D may have limited recline.
