100th central part of the Airbus A220 body has rolled off the production line of Chinese company. Part 2

Airbus and SACI undertook to deepen cooperation to provide quality and delivery of the airplanes’ parts and also gain production rates, he added.

Single-aisle narrow-body airplanes of A220 family are designed for the market segment of the airplanes with seat number from 100 to 150. For today on the airplanes of this family 640 orders have been received but 159 airplanes have been already delivered to the market.

“Bodies of all A220 airplanes that are flying all over the world are manufactured here. Airbus has lots of reasons to continue and widen cooperation with China and not only in quantity but also quality”, – Michel Tran Van, chief executive of Airbus China said.

“China is our key market and hub of our delivery chain but it is much more than just a market. It is integral part of global eco-system of aviation industry, a country with talented people, sustainability of innovations and good potential”, – Tran Van said.
