“Brussels Airlines” operates Embraer ERJ-145. Embraer ERJ-145 is passenger airplane constructed by Embraer Company. First flight took place in 1995.

Embraer ERJ-145 is the main model of the family of regional jet airplanes (ERJ – Embraer Regional Jet) constructed by Brazilian aviation company Embraer in the beginning of 1990’s.

Except the base model there are also several modifications with increased flying range: ERJ-145ER (Extended Range), ERJ-145LR (Long Range), ERJ-145XR (Extra-long Range).

The airplane is operated in airline companies since 1996. During the period of serial production more than 700 airplanes ERJ-145 have been constructed. Construction of the airplane continues in Brazil and since 2004 also in China.
