Boeing will hire 160 pilots in the framework of resuming operation of the airplane 737 MAX

American company Boeing intends to hire 160 pilots in the framework of the program of returning into service airplanes Boeing 737 MAX.

Hired pilots will work as instructors or supervisors of the pilots of other airline companies during 35 days. Applicants should have not less than one thousand hours of instruction experience and must have license for aircraft operation of Boeing 737 model. Salary of hired instructors may reach 200 thousand USD per year.


As it was earlier informed in the framework of the program of resuming operation of the airplanes Boeing 737 MAX is also foreseen twenty-four-hour observation of the flights made by these airplanes and also education of the stewards in communication with passengers that feel anxiety during the flights.

On November 18th Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) released disposition that provides conditions for resuming the flights of Boeing 737 MAX. It stated that in addition to the disposition about cancellation of the instruction to stop operation of these airplanes FAA published Airworthiness Directive that specifies changes in airplane’s design that must be made for resuming the flights and issued notification about continued airworthiness for international community and also published requirements for pilots’ training for the flights on the airplanes of these model.
