Wizz Air will introduce obligatory vaccination for the crews on the flights
From December 1st on the routes of Hungarian low-cost airline company Wizz Air that makes many flights should work only employees fully vaccinated against coronavirus – informs Deutsche Welle.
This rule will concern both pilots and flight attendants- air carrier informed. In exceptional cases employees will have to make lateral flow test or PCR-tests on regular bases.
Earlier Australian airline company Qantas and air carrier from Switzerland Swiss announced that from November 15th will be also introduced requirement of obligatory vaccination against coronavirus for own flight personnel.
At the same time German airline company Lufthansa doesn’t have such plans. “In Germany obligatory vaccination can be introduced only by legislation”, – the company representative said.
Now more and more companies make full vaccination obligatory condition for the employees to work in the office. In particular about such requirement for the employees in USA announced Google and Facebook.
Wizz Air is Hungarian low-cost company with the headquarters in Budapest founded in September 2003. This airline company works namely on the market of Central Europe. The main company’s investor was American private company Indigo Partners.
