Air Baltic offers to change the date of planned on March flight free of charge

Airline Company “airBaltic” offer passengers to change the date of their flight planned on the period from March 10th to 31st to another in 2020, informed Air Baltic Head of Corporate Communications Alise Briede.

This offer is active for all new bookings for airBaltic flights made during the period from March 10th to March 31st 2020. Passengers may rebook tickets free of charge to new date of flight till December 31st 2020. It is allowed to change the date only once.

Change of the date must be made before initial date of departure. If initial price is not available anymore, corresponding price difference must be paid. Departure point and point of destination must remain unchanged as in original ticket.

In addition to flights that were cancelled earlier airBaltic cancelled 370 more flights till the end of May because of situation with corona-virus. Passengers will be offered alternative variants.

Last week carrier informed about plans to cancel 90 flights during the period from March 23rd to April 5th. Later airBaltic cancelled flights to Milan and Verona and back from March 9th till the end of April for health and safety reasons.

AirBaltic routes connect Baltic region with 70 destination points in Europe, CSI and Middle East. The airBaltic fleet consists of 38 airplanes including 22 airplanes A220-300, 4 airplanes Boeing 737 and 20 airplanes Bombardier Q400Next Gen.

The biggest stock holder of the airline company is Latvian government to which belong 80% of stocks.
