Airbus returned one of the most important clients

European aviation company Airbus and airline company Qatar Airways have settled lawsuits and restored major contracts.

Airbus and Qatar Airways agreed on reasonable for both parties resolution of the dispute about quality degradation of the painting layer of wide-body composite airplanes A350 in the fleet of Qatar airline company that will allow manufacturer to restore healthy business relations with one of the most important clients.


Companies announce that they “reached an amicable and mutually agreeable settlement”. Also, it is informed that “project on defects’ elimination is already in process and both parties do their best to return airplanes to the sky safely”. At the same time all legal disputes will be revoked and closed. Amicable agreement is not admission of liability of any company and allows participants to advance in settlement of the problem on partnership bases.

So, conflict between the companies that began in 2021 when Qatar Airways refused several airplanes Airbus A350 declaring defects on the body surface and its’ too quick deterioration was settled on February 1st. Other details of the agreement are not disclosed.
