“Lufthansa” operates Boeing 747-800. The year of the first flight is 2010.

Passenger airplane Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental is the last construction of long-haul wide-bodied family of aircrafts Boeing 747. The airplane has elongated body as compared to the previous model Boeing 747-400 and also new wing, engines and board systems. All these allows new Boeing to become the most quiet, economic and effective airplane among all aircrafts of the family.

Boeing 747-8 was developed as alternative to European Airbus A380. In parallel with passenger variant was constructed and launched cargo version Boeing 747-8 Frighter.
