End of the era of air giants: Airbus delivered last A380 to the Customer. Part 1

The biggest production airplane in the world was withdrawn from production and the last one was delivered to the Customer.

The last airplane Airbus A380 – the biggest production airplane in the world was delivered to the Customer and withdrawn from production.

December 2021 will be written in the history of world aviation as the end of the Airbus A380 era – 251st and the last airplane of the biggest production airplane in the world was delivered to the Customer.


Operator of the airplane became based in United Arab Emirates airline company Emirates Airlines that is the biggest operator of this model – the fleet of the company, taking into consideration new airplane are 23 airplanes Airbus A380.

On March 17th 2021 the airplane with the number MSN272 took off from French Toulouse and flew to Germany to the Hamburg Finkenwerder Airport in which special center for transferring airplane Airbus A380 to the customers. Outside Finkenwerder was assembled one of the body segments of the airplane and then after finishing all the works on the board in Toulouse the airplane returned to Hamburg again where it was painted, equipped inside and delivered to the customer on December 16th. The last Airbus A380 got engines Rolls-Royce Trent 900 though the carrier’s fleet has airplanes with the power units Engine Alliance GP7200.
