Leasing company SMBC Aviation Capital placed order for 14 more airplanes Boeing 737 MAX 8

One of the biggest aviation lease companies in the world SMBC Aviation Capital placed order with American corporation Boeing for 14 additional airplanes Boeing 737 Max 8, – press release of the aviation company published on Tuesday says.

“We are glad to sign purchase agreement with Boeing for 14 airplanes 737 MAX of economy class on which we see increased demand of the Customers after their successful return into service”, – the CEO of SMBC Aviation Capital Peter Barrett marked. Thanks to new agreement lease company will have in possession 121 airplanes of Boeing 737 MAX family. In Boeing corporation suppose that new order will allow SMBC Aviation Capital to satisfy Customers’ demand for domestic flights in several countries and regions.


After SMBC Aviation Capital agreed to acquire 14 more airplanes 737 MAX Boeing stocks increased in price by 2.4%.
