“Air France” operates 5 aircrafts Airbus A321-100. In A321 family Airbus A321-100 is the most powerful.
If comparing to other models the body of Airbus A321-100 is 7 meters longer providing bigger passenger capacity.
Initially the airplane was designed in accordance with requirements to airplanes of the end of XX centuries but the cabin was meant for 150 passengers. At the same time have been constructed models capable to accommodate 154 and 172 passengers. But after several years management of Airbus Industries decided to refuse construction of these two models in favor of construction of airplane that could accommodate 162 passengers.
These model as also presented in two variants that differed from each other in capacity of fuel tanks. For today two basic models are used – A321-100 and A321-200.
