Easyjet is Britain low-cost airline company. Port of registration is located in London airport Luton.

Company was created in 1995 and for almost 20 years of existence became the hugest airline company of Great Britain in number of passengers transported during one year (more than 50 million).

Easyjet is the second low-cost company in Europe after Ryanair.

Route network consists of more than 600 flights that connect 140 cities.

Politics and peculiarities of the company

Like any low-cost operator EasyJet doesn’t offer free food and beverages on its’ airplanes. Passengers may buy it in EasyJet shop. These may be sandwiches, hot meals, snacks, non-alcohol and alcohol beverages.

Also EasyJet allows passengers choosing seats in the airplane in advance by paying additional fee during booking process.

Also for additional charge passenger may choose seats in the first row or seats with extra legroom. With such ticket passenger is granted with boarding pass “Speedy”. It allows to go through registration process individually and quickly and also has the service of priority boarding.

As of January 8, 2024 "Easyjet" operates a mainline fleet of 159 airplanes, 3 more are ordered. The average age of planes is 7.7 years.

The oldest aircraft is Airbus A319-100, with reg.number G-EZEB. It is 14.9 years old. The newest one is Airbus A320neo, with reg.number G-UZHP. It is - 0.1 years old

First EasyJet has focused on Airbus A319 but from 2005 this model was replaced with Airbus A320.

All airplanes have the same cabin configuration:

Airbus A319 – 156 seats in one-class cabin and Airbus A320 – 180 seats also in one-class cabin.
