Seat map of the Airbus A380 (380)
The lower deck contains the seats of economy class that are divided into 4 sections. Most of the seats here have 3-4-3 configuration.
Economy class may accommodate 461 passengers.
First section of economy class seats contains 10 rows with totally 84 seats. Passengers of the seats of the 40th row will take advantage of extra space for their legs. But location of the galley and lavatory in front may cause some discomfort.
Because of the bulkhead position the seats 43 DEFG have limited legroom.
The noise from the lavatories located behind may represent problem for passengers of the seats 48C, 48 DEFG, 48H and for passengers of the seats 49ABC and 49HJK. Limited recline is another disadvantage of the seats 48DEFG, 49ABC and 49HJK.
The second section of economy class seats contains 13 rows. There are totally 126 seats here. The seats of the 50th row have limited legroom because of the position of the bulkhead. Proximity of the galleys is another disadvantage.
Limited recline and location of the lavatories behind are the main disadvantages of the seats 61DEFG, 62ABC and 62HJK.
Behind the exit row the third section of economy class seats is located. Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the 63rd row have extra legroom. Other passengers tend to congregate in the area of these seats in order to visit lavatories causing discomfort to passengers.
The best seat is considered the seat 68D. As there is no seat in front, the legroom space is larger. However, there is no floor storage for this seat during take-off and landing and the width is slightly reduced as TV and tray table are in the armrests making them immovable.
Proximity of the galleys may cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats of the 73rd and 74th rows (except the seats 73D and 73G). Another disadvantage of the seats 73ABC, 73 HJK and 74DEFG is limited recline.
The fourth section of economy class seats is located behind another exit row. The seats 75ABC and 75HJK offer extra legroom. At the same time close location of the galleys may be bothersome.
Restricted space for passengers’ legs and location of the galleys in front are the main disadvantages of the seats 76DEFG.
Passenger tend to congregate in the area of the seats 82C, 82 DEFG, 82H and of the seats of the 83th row while waiting to visit lavatories and thus causing discomfort to passengers of these seats. Limited recline makes the seats 82DEFG, 83 ABC and 83HJK bad seats.
The upper deck of Airbus A380 contains seats of all three classes.
The upper deck begins with 8 open suits of the first class that have 180 degree recline.
Behind these seats 48 flat bed seats of the business class are located. Business class seats have 180 degree recline as well. There are totally 12 rows of seats here that have 1-2-1 configuration. Location of the lavatories and galley in front may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 10th row. Close location of the lavatories is also disadvantage of the seats of the 22nd row.
Behind the exit row and premium lounge the seats of economy class are located. These seats are located in two sections separated from each other with exit row. First section contains 5 rows of seats: 4 of them have 2-4-2 configuration and 1 row with 4 seats. Because of the bulkhead position the seats of the 25th row have limited legroom. Limited recline is the main disadvantage of the seats 29DEFG.
Second section of economy class seats consists of 3 rows of seats that have 20 rows of seats. Due to the exit row located in front, the seats of the 30th row offer extra legroom. Among disadvantages: reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.
Location of the galley and lavatories behind is the main disadvantage of the seats of the 31st-32nd rows.
