Seat map Airbus A320-200 “Delta Airlines”. Best seats in the plane
Delta Airlines owns two versions of Airbus A320.
First cabin version of the Airbus A320-200 (32R)
First version (most common) of Airbus A320 includes 150 seats.
First class of this airplane has 12 recliner seats located in 2-2 configuration. The best seats of this class are the seats 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D. Passengers of these seats may feel more comfortable as they have no seats in front of them and no one will recline into them. During takeoff and landing there is no floor storage for these seats.
The Economy Comfort class has also 3 rows, but they are located in 3-3 configuration, so there are 18 seats here. The best seats here are the seats 4B, 4C, 4D and 4E. Passengers of these seats may take advantage of extra legroom as in front of these seats there is no a bulkhead but just a curtain. The armrest of these seats is immovable and this make these seats a little narrower. The seats 4A and 4F have the same advantages but windows are misaligned here.
Economy class consists of 20 rows in which seats have 3-3 configuration. Due to the exit row located behind, the seats of the 9th row are not reclining. At the same time the seats of 10th row have extra room in front of them but they don’t recline as well as there is another exit row behind these seats. These seats are Preferred seats and may be reserved by Delta Medallion members either when booking tickets or later . The seat 10F has no armrest and the width of this seat is reduced.
The best seats of this Airbus A320 version are the seats of 11th row. Passengers of these seats will feel more comfortable thanks to the extra legroom. These seats are Preferred seats as well and may be reserved by Medallion members at time of booking or later. These seats become available for other passengers during check-in if available. The seat 11F has no armrest at window side.
The seats 25C and 25D as well as the seats of the last 26th row are located close to the lavatories and the galley and this may be bothersome. Plus the seats of the last row have limited recline.
Second cabin version of the Airbus A320-200 (32K)
Second version of Airbus A320 may transport 160 passengers.
First class may accommodate 16 passengers in 4 rows that have 2-2 configuration. The seats of the 1st row are the best seats as they may have extra space for passengers legs.
18 seats of Delta Comfort+ class have 3-3 configuration. Passengers of the seats from 10A to 10F will feel comfortable as there is extra space in front due to the missing bulkhead.
Economy class may transport 126 passengers. The seats of the 14th row have limited recline as there is emergency exit behind. Passengers of the 15th row may take advantage of extra legroom but at the same time these seats have limited recline as there is another exit row behind. The best seats of the economy class are the seats of the 16th row. These seats have more space in front of them.
The main disadvantage of the seats 32C and 32D is their close location to the lavatories and the galley. The seats of the 33rd row have the same disadvantage plus they may be less reclining.
