Seat map Airbus A320-200 Qatar Airways. Best seats in the plane
Qatar Airways operates 2 versions of Airbus A320-200.
First cabin version of the Airbus A320 (320) V1
First version of Airbus A320 is the most common among two versions operated by Qatar Airways.
Qatar Airways uses these airplanes on short-haul routes within the Gulf region.
This airplane may accommodate 144 passengers in two classes: business and economy.
There are 12 seats in the business class that are located in 3 rows per 4 seats in each. Passengers travelling with infants are often seated on the seats of the 1st row as these seats offer bassinet locations. However, close location of the galley and lavatory may cause inconvenience.
Economy class may transport 132 passengers. All the seats in the economy class have 3-3 configuration.
Passengers of the seats of the 8th row will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom. But at the same time these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.
Because of the exit row located behind the seats 12A and 12F are less reclining than standard.
As the seats of the 13th row are located between two exit rows, on the one hand they offer extra space for passengers’ legs but on the other they may be less reclining or not reclining at all.
The best seats in the economy class are considered the seats of the 14th row as passengers of these seats will be able to take advantage of extra legroom that these seats offer.
The noise coming from the galley and lavatory may cause discomfort for passengers of the seats 28C, 28D and for passengers of the seats of the last 29th row.
Second cabin version of the Airbus A320 (320) V2
This version of Airbus A320 offers 132 seats in two classes: business and economy.
Business class consists of 12 flat bed seats that have 180 degrees recline. The noise from the galley and lavatory may be bothersome for passengers of the seats of the 1st row.
Economy class seats have 3-3 configuration. There are totally 120 seats here.
Thanks to position of the bulkhead the seats of the 9th row have a little more space for passengers legs than other standard seats of the economy class. Passengers with babies are often seated in this row as these seats have bassinet locations. These seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.
Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 13th row have limited recline.
Passengers of the seats of the 14th row will take advantage of extra legroom. However, due to the exit row behind these seats may have limited or no recline.
The seats of the 15th row are considered the best seats as they offer extra space for passengers’ legs.
Other passengers tend to congregate in the area of the seats 27C, 27D and of the seats of the last 28th row while waiting to use lavatories and thus causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.
