Seat map Airbus A320-200 Iberia. Best seats in the plane
Iberia operates two versions of Airbus A320.
First cabin version of the Airbus A320 (320)
The first version of Airbus A320 is the most common among two versions. It may transport 162 passengers in two classes.
First 5 rows represent seats of business class. The middle seats are blocked providing more space for passengers of business class. The seats of the 1st row have the following disadvantages: limited legroom, reduced with, location of the galleys and lavatory in front and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.
The seats 2D and 2F provide passengers with extra legroom. However, as the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little. Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.
Economy class offers 144 standard seats that are located in 24 rows. All the seats have 3-3 configuration.
The tray table of the seats of the 6th row are in the armrests making them immovable and reducing the width. Also these seats have mo floor storage during take-off and landing.
The only disadvantage of the seats of the 10th row is limited recline.
Location of the seats of the 11th row between two exit rows on the one hand provides these seats with extra space for passengers’ legs but on the other makes these seats less reclining than standard. Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.
Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the 12th row have extra legroom. Among disadvantages: reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.
The noise from the galley and lavatories located behind will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 29C, 29D and the seats of the 30th row. Another disadvantage of the seats of the last 30th row is limited recline. These seats are considered bad seats.
Second cabin version of the Airbus A320 (320) Express
Second version of Airbus A320 is used by Iberia during short and medium-haul flights.
This airplane offers seats of two classes: business and economy. The number of business class seats depends on demand. The most common configuration contains 18 business class seats.
The middle seats in business class are not sold providing additional space to passengers. All the seats here are standard, only the seats 1AC and 2DF have the following disadvantages: limited space for passengers legs because of bulkhead position, location of the galley in front, reduced width because the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.
Economy class may accommodate 162 passengers. All the seats here have 3-3 configuration.
Location of the exit row behind makes the seats of the 11th row less reclining.
Passengers of the seats of the 12th row will take advantage of extra legroom. But on the other hand these seats have limited recline because of the exit row located behind, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are narrower than standard.
Exit row located in front provides the seats of the 14th row with additional legroom. However, as the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced. Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats. Anyway, these seats are considered the best seats of the economy class.
Limited recline and location of the galley and lavatories behind make the seats of the last 34th row bad seats.
