Iberia is national airline carrier and the biggest airline company of Spain. Airport of registration is capital airport Madrid Barajas, the main hub – El Prat, Barcelona Airport, the capital of Catalonia.

On April 8th 2010 was confirmed that British Airways and Iberia have signed merger agreement. The alliance became the third in the world among airline companies in amount of received profit. However, both carriers continue to make flights under their own brands.

Since 1999 Iberia is the member of aviation alliance “Oneworld”.

Rout network of the company counts more than 120 directions all over the world.

The member airline is Air Nostrum (Iberia Regional) that makes flights on small regional airplanes Bombardier and ATR inside Spain and neighbor countries.
