Its port of commission is a small airport in the city of Tulsa (Oklahoma State, the USA).

The company is remarkable for being the greatest air carrier in the world according to the number of fleet and its annual passenger handling.

This criterion was achieved thanks to merger of two great air carriers American Airlines and US Airways in the travel market in 2013. To perform its flights “American airlines” use five main air hubs and four additional ones.

Destinations network includes about three hundred fifty cities between which 6700 flights are served daily. Flights are served on four continents, in 56 countries of the world.

The total number of airline employee is over 100000 people, annual turnover is 40 milliard dollars. The company is included in Oneworld aviation alliance.
